We are a cheese and sandwich shop on the waterfront in Duck looking for kitchen an bar staff.
Kitchen - experience is preferred. This position will be cross-trained in light front-of-house duties.
Duties include: unloading and organizing food deliveries; food prep; cooking and assembling orders; washing and putting away dishes and utensils; packing takeout orders; food running, including curbside pickup; storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards; and enforcing COVID-19 mandates.
BAR - counter server/bartender needed for our beer and wine bar, some knowledge helpful. With a sommelier on staff, this is a great opportunity for someone who'd like to learn more! Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must. This position will be cross-trained in light kitchen duties.
Duties include: interacting with customers, taking their orders, and occasionally running food; making recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences; keeping the beverage and bar area clean and stocked; bussing and clearing tables; and enforcing COVID-19 mandates.
Full or part-time hours available. Employment would begin mid-March.
